By letter of 14 April 2015 Paul E. Singer, USA, has informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG, that his share of voting rights of DMG MORI SEIKI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, Gildemeisterstraße 60, 33689 Bielefeld, Germany, has exceeded the threshold of 10% as at 8 April 2015 and amounts to 10.11% (7,968,579 out of a total of 78,817,994 voting rights ) at this day.

9.98% of the voting rights (corresponding to 7,866,979 voting rights) are to be attributed to Paul E. Singer according to sec. 22, para. 1, sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, inter alia, from the following undertakings which are controlled by him and whose holdings of voting rights amount to 3% or more in DMG MORI SEIKI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT: Cornwall GmbH & Co. KG, Germany; Cornwall Verwaltungs GmbH, Germany; Cornwall (Luxembourg) S.à r.l., Luxembourg; Wolverton (Luxembourg) S.à r.l., Luxembourg; Maidenhead LLC, USA; Elliott International, L.P., Cayman Islands; Hambledon, Inc., Cayman Islands; Elliott Capital Advisors, L.P., USA; Braxton Associates, Inc., USA, and Elliott Asset Management LLC, USA.

0.13% of the voting rights (corresponding to 101,600 voting rights) are to be attributed to Paul E. Singer pursuant to sec. 22, para. 1, sentence 1, no. 2 in conjunction with sentence 2 of the WpHG.

9.98% of the voting rights (corresponding to 7,864,834 voting rights) are also to be attributed to Paul E. Singer pursuant to sec. 22, para. 1, sentence 1, no. 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 of the WpHG, whereby 9.98% (corresponding to 7,863,679 voting rights) are to be attributed to Paul E. Singer from Cornwall GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
