Bielefeld. With a grand opening of the new HSC Center on 22 March 2011, the new service center in Geretsried with its attractive, future-proof jobs will be presented.
In the new GILDEMEISTER group technology center, sales and service activities will be further boosted. The highlight is the presentation of high-speed machining with high-precision, high-speed cutting machines (HSC). Customers can experience the entire high-speed machining process chain live. For example, the manufacture of impellers and wheel rims in the automotive sector, artificial knee joints for medical technology or cast iron moulds for the Bobby Car will be demonstrated. “Just the possibility of complete machining on one machine is the key to the economic success of high-speed cutting technology – HSC,“ says Andreas Rossberg, head of the HSC Center.
With an investment volume of about € 2 million, GILDEMEISTER is once again underscoring the importance of the Geretsried site. At the moment, a total of 313 employees are working for five companies in Geretsried. All the business divisions were profitable in financial year 2010.
With its “Center of Excellence“ concept, GILDEMEISTER is offering its customers from the aerospace, medical technology, automotive and renewable energy industries complete production solutions for the manufacture of very specific products. Further centers of excellence can be found in Pfronten (“Center of Excellence – Aerospace, Energy and Medical“), in Stipshausen (“Center of Excellence – Dental“) and in each of Bielefeld, Tortona and Shanghai (“DMG Experience Center Turn & Mill“).
