Bielefeld. With order intake of € 58.5 million and 292 machines sold, GILDEMEISTER has received the first positive boost of the industry’s highlights at the beginning of the year. The satisfying trend at the NORTEC in January in Hamburg and at the traditional Open House at DECKEL MAHO in Pfronten last week reflects a growing interest in investments for our machine tools.
The NORTEC in Hamburg – the specialist trade fair for production technology – resulted satisfactorily in 29 machines sold and a order volume of € 5.1 million. GILDEMEISTER presented 12 exhibits to the predominantly northern German trade audience.
Our traditional Open House at DECKEL MAHO in Pfronten was a good success: with order intake of € 53.4 million and 263 machines sold, the result met our expectation (previous year: € 32.5 million). GILDEMEISTER presented 55 exhibits in live operation over an area of 3,243 square metres. In total, 3.913 national and international DMG-customers gathered information on 2010’s innovations: lat-est machining processes and automation solutions, as well as future orientated software developments. An extensive programme of seminars on the industries Energy, Aerospace, Automotive and Medical met with great interest.
On 11 February 2010 GILDEMEISTER will publish its Provisional Figures for the Financial Year 2009.
