GILDEMEISTER takes positive stock of METAV ​​​​​​​

Bielefeld. With order intake of € 29.3 million and 160 machines sold, GILDEMEISTER takes positive stock of the first important trade fair of the year, the METAV in Dusseldorf.

As the biggest exhibitor GILDEMEISTER presented a total of 21 innovative machines over an area of 1,000 square metres. 4,008 trade visitors gathered information on the latest machine processes, future oriented industry solutions, software developments and the energy efficiency of machines. In addition, GILDEMEISTER took part in the special viewings of "Energy Efficiency“, "Medical Technology" and "Young People" of the German Association of Machine Tool Builders (VDW). GILDEMEISTER supports the "Blue Competence” initiative and shows machining technology and resource-conserving production processes under the title "DMG ENERGY SAVING“. With intelligent technology, the energy consumption of our DMG machines will be reduced by about 20% over the life cycle.

From 10 to 12  March 2010, GILDEMEISTER presents the business area of large piece manufacturing at the Bielefeld site. On 18 March 2010 the press con-ference on the balance sheet will take place.
