Some 4,155 trade visitors gathered information at our booth on trend-setting chipping technology, innovative software developments and the DMG LifeCycle Services spectrum.
In addition, at the "METAV Special Show for Young People", jointly organised with the VDW Nachwuchsstiftung (German Machine Tool Builders' Association Educational Foundation for Young People), GILDEMEISTER showcased the vocational training and study opportunities. Under this year's motto "Mechanical Engineering - Job with Power", some 5,000 young people looked at career opportunities and current developments in mechanical engineering. The young people were particularly interested in the live presentations of high-tech machines and the latest software solutions in manufacturing technology.
On 15 March 2012 GILDEMEISTER will publish its figures for financial year 2011.
