GILDEMEISTER successful at the METAV in Düsseldorf
Bielefeld. With order intake of € 41.5 million and 181 machines sold, GILDEMEISTER takes positive stock of the METAV in Dusseldorf. The trade fair, which ended on Saturday, attracted more than 40.000 trade visitors. GILDEMEISTER affirms its good start to the year 2012.
As the largest exhibitor at this international trade fair for manufacturing technology and automation, GILDEMEISTER presented the SPRINT 50 as a world première, the CNC-automation-turning-machine with TWIN-concept, as well as 26 further exhibits. Some 4,155 trade visitors gathered information at our booth on trend-setting chipping technology, innovative software developments and the DMG LifeCycle Services spectrum.
In addition, at the "METAV Special Show for Young People", jointly organised with the VDW Nachwuchsstiftung (German Machine Tool Builders' Association Educational Foundation for Young People), GILDEMEISTER showcased the vocational training and study opportunities. Under this year's motto "Mechanical Engineering - Job with Power", some 5,000 young people looked at career opportunities and current developments in mechanical engineering. The young people were particularly interested in the live presentations of high-tech machines and the latest software solutions in manufacturing technology.
On 15 March 2012 GILDEMEISTER will publish its figures for financial year 2011.
