GILDEMEISTER receives orders worth € 163.4 million
Bielefeld. With order intake of € 163.4 million and 530 machines sold, GILDEMEISTER takes positive stock of the traditional in-house exhibition in Pfronten (previous year: € 107.7 million). This result from the industry highlight, which ended on Saturday, assures the good start to the year.
With its successful performance at the traditional trade fair, GILDEMEISTER has made a good start to the year 2012. At the in-house exhibition in Pfronten, a total of 63 exhibits were presented, including six world premieres . Some 5,113 national and international trade visitors sought information on integrated solutions for trend-setting manufacturing processes. The exclusive technology seminars in the fields of "Medical“, "Aerospace“, "Automotive“, "Energy Solutions“ and "XXL-Machines“ met with great interest; the crowd pullers were the mega turning and milling centres.
We are expecting a further boost from other upcoming events – the METAV in Dusseldorf (28 Feb.-3 Mar. 2012) and the SIMTOS in Seoul (17-22 Apr. 2012). On 15 March 2012 GILDEMEISTER will publish the figures for its business performance in 2011.
