Bielefeld. GILDEMEISTER Aktiengesellschaft has been awarded first prize for its 2006 annual report. GILDEMEISTER came top in this year’s “best annual report” ranking by manager magazin. This sees the company jumping from SDAX winner last year to pole position ahead of some 200 evaluated reports. Content, layout, language and report efficiency were assessed.
This was the 13th set of awards for the annual reports of listed companies by the Hamburg-based business publication manager magazin. This competition is independent and is the most comprehensive comparison in Germany and Europe and one of the largest in the world. A team of assessors headed by Professor Jörg Baetge of the Institute for Audit Studies at University of Münster analyses the reports from the DAX, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX and Euro Stoxx 50 stock market sectors and newly listed companies.
With the slogan of “Grasping the future. Setting trends.” the GILDEMEISTER annual report won over assessors and panellists with a high level of transparency, linguistic quality and innovative design. GILDEMEISTER responded to the higher information requirements of the capital market and satisfied the recommendations of the German Corporate Governance Code in full. The 2006 annual report can be ordered or downloaded from www.gildemeister.com. The content is also available as an interactive online version.
