GILDEMEISTER awarded major contract in Asia
Bielefeld. GILDEMEISTER has been awarded again with a large order by the Malaysian Government to supply more than 60 of it's own Turning- and Milling machines, as well as 179 third party products with a total value of Euro 9,5 Mio. Modern Training and Educational Centers throughout the country will be equiped with GILDEMEISTER's latest techno-logy. The delivery of these High-Tech-Machines and equipments will be undertaken within 2002 including installation, training and technical support.
As Malaysia's Industry grows rapidly the government is supporting strongly the young generation to face the high demands of modern Industry and manufacturing processes with newest technologies. The government is investing largely in Training and Education Centers to provide more young students and specialists the possibility to learn latest technologies.
The modern and innovative products and "teachware" available from GILDEMEISTER have again been convincing in standard and quality. For the first time Malaysia has selected CNC-Turning machines, multi-axis Universal-Milling machines and the latest High speed Vertical-Machining centers with Lineartechnology from DECKEL MAHO GILDEMEISTER. "We are very proud to be awarded with this new order. It is for us important to receive this vote of convidence and is confirmation in our high product standards, quality and services'', says Klaus Ludwig, Managing Director from the group's own Sales & Service subsidaries DMG Asia Pacific in Singapor and DMG Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. This large order from Malaysia is a further proof of success of the groups Asia strategy. GILDEMEISTER sees in Asia good business possibilities and is planning to increase further its presence and activities in this markets.
