DMG MORI with good order intake at the fall trade fairs

Bielefeld. With an order intake of € 121.9 million and 517 machines sold, the DMG MORI SEIKI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT takes positive stock of the first important fall trade fairs. The AMB in Stuttgart and the IMTS in Chicago, which take place every other year in September, showed steady demand for machine tools. There is good momentum for post-trade fair business with 3,526 newly initiated requirements.

After five days of exhibition, the AMB in Stuttgart closed on Saturday. DMG MORI as the largest exhibitor presented across 2,019 m² 46 high-tech machines with CELOS and in a new design. The control interface CELOS simplifies the process from the initial idea to the finished product using apps. It is an important step for Industry 4.0. Overall, DMG MORI registered 9,198 trade visitors who gathered information on innovative technology and future product trends.

The IMTS in Chicago (8. -13.09.2014) was also successful and reflected the considerably increased demand of the American market. DMG MORI exhibited 40 high-tech machines in Chicago - with CELOS and in a new design. DMG MORI, having an exhibition space of 3,036 m², recorded 10,150 trade visitors. The 13 American premieres generated much interest.

AMB and IMTS were the successful kick-off for the coming trade fairs and technology exhibitions in Italy, Turkey and Japan: BIMU in Milan (30.09.-04.10.2014), MAKTEK in Istanbul (14.10.-19.10.2014) and JIMTOF in Japan (30.10.-04.11.2014).
