Bielefeld // Effective 1 July 2019, the Essen-based energy group STEAG will take over the significant business activities of GILDEMEISTER energy solutions from DMG MORI. Subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, the group subsidiary STEAG Energy Services GmbH strengthens its position in the growth market of renewable energies. It was agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. All employees are taken over by STEAG.

DMG MORI entered the market for solar technology 2007. Now DMG MORI is focusing on its core business with machine tools and services as well as the development of the future fields of automation, digitization and ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING.
