Christian Thönes to become deputy member of Executive Board​​​​​​​

Bielefeld. At today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of GILDEMEISTER Aktiengesellschaft Christian Thönes (39) was appointed as deputy member of the Executive Board effective as of 1 January 2012.

This takes account of the growing internationalisation in the areas of products, product development and technology. In his new appointment he will be responsible for the future direction of product development, national and international projects, and the international expansion of production plants, which has been planned mid-term. Thönes joined the GILDEMEISTER group in 1998 and is managing director of DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH.
