DMG MORI honors young talents in Pfronten

Bielefeld // Pfronten. Outstanding technical qualifications and exemplary commitment – for years DMG MORI has been one of "Germany's best training companies". The state-of-the-art, holistic training concept pays off every year: in 2021, Johannes Emmerich from DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH is the best industrial mechanic specializing in production technology among his graduating class in the Allgäu region.

"My very personal congratulations to our dual student Johannes Emmerich. There is no better way to finish the first year of studies. The future at DMG MORI belongs to such talented and motivated young people," says Christian Thönes, Chairman of the Executive Board of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT.

Christian Thönes personally honored Johannes Emmerich at DECKEL MAHO in Pfronten and, together with Managing Director Reinhard Musch and trainer Markus Trenkle, awarded him with the IHK certificate as the best industrial mechanic. Lorenz Sternitzke was also honored: The 20-year-old received the Bavarian State Prize for his excellent final certificate – awarded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In addition, both young talents receive a very special token of appreciation: the DMG MORI Employee Excellence Award.

"The training at DMG MORI is always interesting, international and offers many opportunities to be a part of shaping the company. I am proud to be part of the DMG MORI family," says Johannes Emmerich. Automation, digitization and sustainability are DMG MORI's future topics and are therefore firmly anchored in the training. "We are very pleased about these outstanding achievements. DMG MORI trainees are regularly among the best. We promote and inspire young talents at an early stage – internationally and digitally," says Markus Trenkle.

DECKEL MAHO Pfronten has 1,190 employees, including 97 trainees. Sustainable training is a matter of course for DMG MORI: through high training standards and intensive support for young talents, trainees are optimally prepared for the demands of the modern working world from the very beginning and strengthened in digital skills.
