Bielefeld. At a Grand Opening, a+f GmbH, a GILDEMEISTER group company, presented its new trend-setting center of competence in Würzburg and showcased its “SkyCarrier“ for the first time.
The center of competence, which is designed for about 100 employees, was completed within nine months. The modern building is a reflection of the company’s ecological orientation: it is a zero energy building, which can be powered without any primary energy supply, such as gas and oil, at all. Anyone dealing in regenerative energy can hardly burn fossil fuel in their own building“, says a+f managing director, Thomas Petsch, about the modern new building..
As a highlight at the Grand Opening, for the first time a+f presented its “SkyCarrier”, an innovative tracking system for solar installations in the equatorial region. The “SkyCarrier”, with its module surface of 247 square metres, revolves along the horizontal axis. This allows it to meet additional, geographically-determined requirements for optimum solar radiation. The newly introduced product is an effective addition to the product portfolio of a+f GmbH and is intended primarily to contribute to opening up the market in the Middle East. Prototypes of the “SkyCarrier“ are currently being installed in Dubai.
GILDEMEISTER is participating in the fast-growing business area of solar technology with the “SunCarrier“ and ”SkyCarrier“.
